Longevity in office, alone, speaks for reliance and dependence by the membership and confidence in the individual. All of the “Marty plaudits” are justified. I was in San Juan and participated in his interview and retention. Moreover, I wrote a letter of congratulation to Marty BEFORE he was formally notified. (The other candidate, in my view, was not really serious.) Hail to Marty!
