The Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) celebrated the five-year anniversary of the Illinois Eye Institute at Princeton Elementary, a partnership with Chicago Public Schools that assists students who are unable to receive comprehensive eye exams after failing school vision screenings. With the five-year anniversary came the results of a study that shows students’ GPAs and math test scores improve after visiting the clinic. The clinic has helped more than 31,000 students.
