Oculus has introduced a new Universal Trial Frame, the UB 6, which is designed to be lighter, trendier, simpler and more comfortable for patients and doctors. Because the frame has 12 total slots for trial lenses (six for each side, four in front, and two behind), fine adjustment with sphere or refraction with circular/linear polarizing filters is easier to carry out.
The UB 6 has the unique feature of gradation of the axis scales at 2.5° intervals, which is easy to read even in dark rooms. The UB 6 nose bridge can be adjusted in height and angle, and the nose piece is anatomically formed for better distribution of pressure. Both the thumb wheel for adjustment and the earpieces have been improved.
All Oculus trial and special lenses in standard size 38-mm diameter are compatible with the UB 6.
