Student Award in Clinical Ethics Winner Announced

ASCO and the Ethics Educators SIG are pleased to announce Cassondra Lux-O’Callaghan as the winner of the 2018 Student Award in Clinical Ethics. This annual national award provides the winner with a $1,000 award check and an acrylic engraved plaque.

Cass is a student at Midwestern University, Arizona College of Optometry and is expected to graduate with her Doctor of Optometry degree this year. Her winning essay, “Ethical Dilemmas Faced with Malingering Patients”, will also be featured in the Journal of Optometric Education.
