PCO’s Accelerated Degree Program is a First

LG-Salus-logoThis past fall, the first class of 10 students began the new Scholars Program at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University (PCO). The program is the first in the nation designed to enable students to complete the Doctor of Optometry degree program in 36 months. The unique curriculum emphasizes lecture and laboratory instruction, learning in small groups, case-based learning and online and web-enhanced instruction. Guided independent study offers students the ability to work individually and in small groups with faculty mentors. Students accepted into the program are carefully screened and accepted based on qualifications, history of academic performance and career path.
