Topcon Medical Systems has introduced a new series of adjustable instrument tables designed to maximize patient comfort and office space.
The new AIT-W1 and AIT-W2 Adjustable Instrument Tables can be placed flush against a wall and accessed from the front and both sides, providing wheelchair accessibility, saving space, and facilitating the use of ophthalmic instruments. The tables come fully assembled and can hold instruments up to 300 lbs. The tables’ elevation mechanism is controlled from an illuminated touch panel and enables preset levels. The AIT-W1 and AIT-W2 come standard with the Anti-Collision system, which stops down movement if the table comes in contact with the patient’s legs.
