Company Co-Develops Contact Lens Recycling Program

BL_Logo_croppedBausch + Lomb launched the ONE by ONE recycling program, which encourages consumers to help preserve the environment by taking ONE action at a time to ONE day achieve a greener future where even contact lenses can play a role. With the program, co-developed with TerraCycle, patients can recycle their used Bausch + Lomb contact lenses and blister packs.

Contact lens wearers collect their used blister packs, top foil and lenses in a small cardboard box. When the box is full, they print out a free ONE by ONE shipping label and either take the box to any UPS location or ship it from home. The box goes to TerraCycle to be recycled properly.
