Salus PCO Student Achieves the Highest National Board of Examiners in Optometry Score

Meghan Thompson, a second year Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry student, achieved the highest NBEO® Part I Applied Basic Science Examination score nationally. In achieving the highest score, Thompson also received the Dr. Norman E. Wallis Award for Excellence – established to honor Dr. Wallis and his 25 years of phenomenal service as the executive director of the NBEO. Dr. Wallis was also the Pennsylvania College of Optometry’s president from 1972 to 1979.
