Industry Spotlight

LasikPlus is proud to announce the growth of the LasikPlus Cares program, which supports the humanitarian efforts of charities throughout the United States and other countries. Through this program, we have launched relationships with our global partner, RestoringVision, as well as many local charities personally selected by our LasikPlus Vision Center teams.

The LasikPlus Vision Centers work to provide high-quality laser vision correction at an affordable cost. We invest in state-of-the-art technology and work with experienced optometrists and ophthalmologists across the country, who are as passionate about providing great vision as we are.

RestoringVision distributes new reading glasses and sunglasses to charitable organizations serving disadvantaged people in developing countries. Approximately 2.5 billion people worldwide suffer from uncorrected vision impairment. 544 million people only need non-prescription reading glasses to correct their vision, but live in developing countries with limited or no access to glasses. Since 2003, RestoringVision has partnered with over 1,400 organizations and distributed more than 10 million glasses to people in 116 countries around the world, with a goal of helping 20 million people by 2020. For more information about RestoringVision, please visit www.restoringvision.org.

LasikPlus launched the LasikPlus Cares Program in January 2017. In just 18 months, we have donated over $118,000 to RestoringVision, and over $65,000 to local charities across the country. These charities focus on a wide range of issues, including health, animal welfare, the environment, and education. We are proud to be able to help these amazing organizations better the lives of others in our community and around the world. We look forward to 2018 being another great year for this program.
