Programs and Benefits for Students and Young Professionals at Vision Expo West

From panels with top thought leaders in optometry and access to word-class education, Vision Expo continues to offer students and young professionals tailored programming to get their careers off to a strong start.

Students attending Vision Expo West 2018 have access to benefits including:

  • Free Exhibit Hall Registration
  • Free Unlimited Education
  • Free Networking Events and Programs

Students and young professionals can see education recommendations made just for them from their peers in the Young Professionals Advisory Group. Advisory Group members have suggested courses that will be valuable to the next generation of ECPs, from how to leverage digital to build your practice, understanding billing and coding, to the latest information on anterior segment disease.

Vision Expo works to provide year-round value to young professionals through partnerships with NewGradOptometry and Defocus Media. Students and new grads can visit NewGradOptometry.com for articles and videos filmed at Vision Expo on trending topics for young Doctors of Optometry. Defocus Media provides ECPs with the latest industry news and podcast discussions on hot topics and trends in the eyecare profession.

At Vision Expo West, Matt Geller, OD and CEO of CovalentCareers Inc., will lead expert panels with career tips for students and young professionals each day in the NewGradOptometry & CovalentCareers booth. Attendees can also visit the CovalentCareers team for additional mentoring and networking opportunities geared toward new ODs.

Visit the Vision Council website for more information on programs and benefits available to students and young professionals at Vision Expo West taking place from September 26 – 29 in exciting Las Vegas.
